Note:
If you are heavily muscled, your BMI might incorrectly class you as overweight
or obese when actually you don't have too much body fat. Most of
us are not heavily muscled, however, so don't reach for that explanation
unless you're pulling down big bucks in professional sports or you've
been pumping iron, serious iron, for some time. But if you are under
5 feet tall, or elderly, or under age 18, BMI may not accurately indicate
how much body fat you have. BMI can't distinguish the weight
of muscles mass or fat. For example, an individual who carries
more muscle mass/lean body tissue could get a false reading since BMI
is a calculation weight in kilograms (pounds divided by 2.2) divided by
the square of your height in meters (inches times 0.0254, times itself).
To be precise, it's not excess body pounds that threaten your health,
it's excess body FAT. Body Mass Index is an easily measured item
that usually reflects, approximately, how much body fat one has.
(But it's not the same as your body fat percentage.) Bodyfat

scale or bathroom BMI scale the readings can be skewed with the "%
