The Navigator™ Series comprises of seven different models ranging in capacity from 32 g to 8100 g and readabilities from 0.002 g to 0.5 g.  Each model is available with an internal calibration feature ( InCal™) or without internal calibration.  We usually recommend purchasing balance without the internal calibrations for a multitude of reasons, though your particular weighing application may benefit from purchasing a balance with internal calibration feature.  All Navigator™ Series with the InCal™ feature requires use of AC adapter. Internal calibration can not be performed on battery power .

Calibration can be accomplished using the internal calibration mass for Navigator™ balances equipped with the InCal™ feature .4.75" diameter platform  When the balance requires calibration, a screen prompt of CAL NOW appears.  Internal calibration can be performed at any time providing the balance has warmed up to operating temperature.  High capacity models with InCal™ use an internal calibration mass which is only a part of the balance's total capacity.  Calibration tolerances may be proportionately greater at full capacity.  A software feature is incorporated which permits the internal calibration mass to be adjusted by +100 divisions at full scale capacity using an external mass.
